Greater St. Matthew is the church where you are greeted with a handshake and a smile when you join us in person for worship. When you leave, we hope that you will say
"It is worth the trip".
When you approach the church [if you're on time], you will be greeted with a smile and the door will be opened by these gentlemen. They are also there if you need help getting out of your car as well as help going up and down stairs.

When you enter the foyer, the love of GOD exudes on the faces of people lined up to greet everyone with a smile and give each visitor a handshake along with a visitor's package. They make you feel welcome.
Next, you enter the sanctuary. You are shown to your seat and handed an envelope by one of our awesome GOD fearing ushers. They keep order and organization in the sanctuary. If you need something, just raise your hand and they will assist.

After you sit and get settled, you may notice the white uniforms, the nurses, who are there if you feel sick or you get heated. You feel safe knowing they are there to tend to your medical needs.
Spiritual support and access to create an inclusive, welcoming environment, foster community among the hearing impaired, and empower them to become spiritual leaders within the church and the wider community.

When new members join church, want to rededicate their lives to Christ and/or want to be baptized, the New Member Ministry meets with them briefly in the back, welcomes them to make them feel comfortable, gets contact information for the church and shares the plan of salvation. The New Member Ministry forwards the contact information to the Care Group and a Care Group leader is assigned. There is a 6 week new member orientation class.

"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

Grieving families are served after the funeral service. A meal, comfort, and fellowship are provided in a compassionate way for our church community to extend love, support, and hospitality during a difficult time.
